Our Sustainable Approach

A Changing Climate

We recognize our responsibility to help protect the planet, and are a certified social enterprise. We are committed to minimizing the impact our company has on the environment and support those that working to improve global environmental sustainability throughout our entire supply chain. We comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations with a journey of continual process improvement.

Our Mission

Our environmental footprint strategy seeks to address greenhouse gas emissions and waste across our entire operation as we continually strive to strengthen our environmental practices. We aim to be not just carbon neutral, but environmentally positive.

How We Are Doing This

There are multiple approaches that we have taken

  • We plant trees through One Tree Planted. One fully grown tree will absorb approximately 25kg of CO2 a year. Each year we will add to the number and display the certificates on this page.
  • We recycle our wholesale boxes. As a manufacturer and wholesaler, we actively look to recycle our cardboard boxes where possible.
  • We have moved to compostable delivery bags. For direct customers, we useEco-friendly alternative to standard polythene mailing bags. these are produced from sugar cane, the greenest material on the market. Fully recyclable material make it an improved environmental solution. It is also Carbon neutral – the carbon dioxide taken from the atmosphere in the growing process, offsets the carbon dioxide emitted through production and transport.
  • Bamboo Socks.Bamboo is a great alternative to traditional cotton socks because it is much more environmentally friendly. Cotton socks are typically made from non-organic cotton, which is grown with the use of pesticides and other harmful chemicals. Bamboo socks are made from bamboo fibre, which means they are free from pesticides and other chemicals. Bamboo rayon is also a more sustainable fabric as takes about 200 times more water to grow a pound of cotton than it does to grow a pound of bamboo!
  • Recycled Raw Materials. We check to see if recycled materials are available as part of our production.
